ABOUT THE PRODUCERS

The House Detective is produced by Bubba Newman Productions, a company that has been producing television programs in Northern Nevada and Northern California for more than thirteen years and has produced over 1500 individual programs. 

Currently, Bubba Newman Productions produces The House Detective on KOLO-TV, the ABC Affiliate in Reno and The House Detective Mexico Edition which airs nationally and regionally on Cable and local broadcast stations.

The principles of Bubba Newman Productions are Dave and Greg Newman.

Dave has been in radio and television broadcasting in the Reno area for nearly 40 years.  Among other accomplishments, Dave is a past President of the Nevada Broadcasters Association; the recipient of the Nevada Broadcaster of the Year Award; the recipient of the Ad Club’s Lifetime Achievement Award; is in the Nevada Broadcasting Hall of Fame; and he has taught broadcasting at the University of Nevada.

Dave’s son Greg has been the technical and creative arm of The House Detective from its inception.  Greg graduated from the Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada. Previously, Greg spent 18 years as a radio disc jockey, sports talk show host and an Account Executive in television and continues to produce numerous corporate videos.

Together, Dave and Greg have the experience, stability, market knowledge, and talent to ensure the success of The House Detective.
